About Choice Fruits
Celebrating the joy of sustainable home living
Choice Fruits is a local brand that celebrates the joy of sustainable home living and the ability to work, discover, rest, and recover. The Owner, Alexis Lawrence, created Choice Fruits in 2016 originally intending to sell sugar free fruit based ice cream.
Not knowing how to get started, she put the idea to rest, while at the same time learning how to sew, garden, and become self sufficient. In 2021 she took a formal sewing class and became so inspired by her projects, Choice Fruits came back to life in the form of a craft business at the farmers market that summer.
Through this business, Alexis loves to offer a variety of classes, handmade craft aprons, and deeply useful personal care items that aid in rest and recovery - all while hoping to help you along on your journey toward a more self-sustainable lifestyle.

About Alexis
Hi! My name is Alexis and I am the owner of Choice Fruits, Handcrafted Home Living.
A little background about me - I started my career in health education after earning a Masters degree in Health and Kinesiology. After working at the Army Wellness Center as a Health Educator for a few years, I transitioned to the San Antonio Food Bank as a Nutrition Education Coordinator.
Here I learned more about gardening, hydroponics, and the importance of sustainable food systems. I discovered through my work that I loved teaching others and inspiring them toward health behavior change.
Ultimately, I left my work to start this business where I hope to inspire others to share my passion for sustainable home living!
